READYWomen is a place where we equip, educate, inspire and create connection between powerful, amazing, courageous women!READYWomen Leaders is an extension of LisaShawCares.com (LLC). It is spelled this way to emphasize the R.E.A.D.Y. If you decide to join us we will share with you what the READY means for us as women. I’d like to share with you a bit about what’s behind the development of READYWomen which officially kicked off January 2023.
Women need connection and engagement!
Men do too. Among the hurts and tragedies of Covid, the lock down in 2020 removed our ability to be in person with one another thereby removing the ability to laugh in person, shake hands, give healing hugs, and to worship God together corporately in our places of worship. It hindered and in some cases completely removed the ability for people to enjoy special family and friend events, work together, go to weddings, graduations, and Celebration of Life services and more. Once the lock-down was over we still had to talk and smile from behind masks rather than actually see each other’s faces. It changed life as we knew it to be. These difficult and often painful hindrances from who God made us to be created discouragement and depression for many. For others, they lost businesses, church buildings, jobs, homes and most tragically even loved ones.
As a woman who loves God, and prayed for everyone and stood on the Word, and as one who loves my family and friends and who is a business owner who cares about my clients, who has a real extroverted personality, I too had to fight off heavy discouragement during that time, as we resorted to all things virtual. I’m grateful my family made it through and that I was already serving clients in the virtual community and connecting with people on social media however, my heart hurt for everyone as I’m sure yours did.
I birthed READYWomen Leaders for women who desire to connect with like-minded women of faith, who raise families, own businesses, lead ministries and work their job with integrity, prayer and experience. I also birthed it so that virtually and in person we could get back to having a community of women supporting each other in the ways God intended in person and for some virtually. READYWomen is a place where we equip, educate, inspire and create connection between powerful, amazing, courageous women!
