Hey Friend,
I shared this with my Email list of amazing Ladies so I thought I would post it here on my blog…
Today, I want to lovingly remind you of something powerful: we are better together—in life, in business, and in ministry.
As Christian women, we have the beautiful opportunity to mutually bless one another. When one of us takes a step forward, we all rise. I believe that fully! That’s not just a cute quote—it’s biblical truth lived out in real life.
Think about this:
-
When you find a restaurant you enjoy, what do you do? You tell someone. We also tell when it’s not good right?!
-
When you land a great deal, you share it with your family or your girlfriend, or post it on social media.
-
When you find a doctor you trust, you recommend him or her. I have done that a few times.
But friend—how often do we do this for the women around us who are growing businesses, leading ministries, or using their God-given gifts to serve others? I’m often asked to support someone’s business and if I have experienced their service or product, know them well I then write the recommendation or share on my social media. I don’t take that lightly because in sharing I’m putting my name behind them to some degree. So I don’t just share everyone who asks. I find other ways to support them by buying something from them to try “them” out if you will.
If you’ve received a service or product from a fellow woman and it blessed you—talk about it. Tell someone about it online and offline. Write a quick recommendation. Give a social media shoutout. Refer her to your circle. When you do, you’re not just being kind—you’re sowing a seed of support into someone who already poured out a blessing to you.
Here’s why this matters:
Women understand the needs of women. We carry so much—raising families, building businesses, working in careers, serving in ministry, leading in our churches and communities. We need God, yes, and we need each other. He designed it that way!
Support isn’t just saying “good job” or “hey thanks” in passing or just in private. It’s being intentional about helping another woman succeed.
Here are 5 simple ways you can bless and support another woman today:
- Write a social media post about someone whose work has impacted you—be sure to tag her and say more than just sharing the link. Say something that will draw people to your post. Again, tag her.
- Leave or provide a written review or testimonial on her website, Google, or one of her social media pages. Find out which is best for her. I did this last week for someone. I knew how important her request was. I took 5 minutes and wrote it.
- Refer her services to someone who needs exactly what she offers.
- Invite her to speak or showcase her gifts in your network, group, or community. Don’t be afraid to do that. You won’t lose business, you’ll gain because God will see your heart to bless others.
- Send her an encouraging voice note or email just to say, “I see you, and I appreciate what you do.” Yesterday, I received a handwritten note from someone and I cried. I was blessed that someone would buy a blank card and write a note in it of “thanks” for something my husband and I were able to do for him and his family.
Friends, if you want people to support you, be sure you’re supporting others. It goes both ways.
Let’s be the kind of women who are generous with our praise, bold with our recommendations, and intentional with our support.
After all, when we do this, we are glorifying God—and building up one another in love. Look for someone to bless today—and do it with joy!
Thanks for taking the time to read my heart on this subject. Sometimes the very thing someone is praying for is in your ability to be used by God to fulfill the need. Your support of someone may open a big door for them. You will be blessed as well!
Blessings,

P.S. You never know how much a kind word, a post, or a recommendation might mean to someone in a difficult season. Let’s be the blessing today.
