A wounded woman often wounds herself and others

“A wounded woman often wounds herself and others” Join me tomorrow (Thursday, October 16th 11:00 am EST) on The Whole Woman with Lisa Shaw, online radio program. Psalm 147:3 tells us that “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds [curing their pains and their sorrows].

Many women are like the “functioning-wounded”. They have families, jobs, ministries and responsibilities but they are oozing from the infections deep within the wounds of their hearts and minds, creating further pain for themselves, others around them and never really experiencing the fullness of life that God has for them. Until one allows the deep penetrating healing of the hurts in ones heart to be done by our Healer, Jesus, often times that person will live depleted and defeated–and cause wounds to others. Time to get to the root, dig it up, address it, not avoid it–and give the open (runny, bloody, infected) wounds(hurts) to Jesus for deep healing unto wholeness. It’s doable. I know because I was a Christian woman who was a wounded girl and a wounded woman until I had had enough and decided I wanted ALL of what God had for my life.
