Do you want to read real-life stories from women who may have some of the same experiences you may have had? Women who can relate to your needs as a woman? Women walking with Jesus are real women who face real-life just like you do. These women are different ages, stages, backgrounds and cultures who are caring, compassionate, imperfect and flawed who share the common bond of experiencing the day-to-day love and grace of Jesus and we want to share His love and grace with you from March to December 2014.

Lisa Shaw knows that Jesus’ love is the story of her life. She’s founder of LisaShawCares.com. She’s a Bible Teacher, Event Speaker, Author of You Are Beautiful in God’s Eyes, host of the Whole Woman online radio program, an ordained Pastor, Personal Christian Consultant who helps women and married couples to build and blossom in their lives and a Freelance Writer who enjoys writing over a hot cup of Chai Tea. Tammy Rude is a wife, mother, and women’s leader who is living a restored, Christ-centered life. Tammy speaks and writes with transparency using lessons learned through her struggles with marriage, motherhood, depression, and ultimately through her victory by God’s redeeming power. Isunji Cardoso started writing when she was just 8 years old. Her third grade teacher asked the class to write an original story. Her story was a hit with the class, and a writer was born! Isunji describes herself a a word-nerd who believes in the power of a good story to touch hearts, educate minds, lift spirits and even change the world. The Lord has given her many stories that she hopes to release to the world as He leads. In February 2013 Isunji published her first book, a devotional called Faith Lifts: 31 Daily Boosts for Sagging Faith which is now available for purchase. Debbie Petras is originally from Long Island, New York but she and her husband Greg now live in Arizona. She worked as a cardiovascular nurse for many years but currently works with preschool children. Debbie was greatly influenced by her Christian grandparents but spent many years living a life that didn’t reflect her belief in Jesus. At her grandmother’s funeral, Debbie felt the Lord speaking softly to her heart. She returned to church and began reading her Bible. Life began to change as her love for Jesus grew and began to spill over to others. Matthew 5:16 became one of her favorite Scriptures “…let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.” She enjoys sharing her faith and writing on her blog Heart Choices as she inspires and encourages others.
Bernadine McIntosh is a child of God, born and raised in a small town in the Bahamas. She’s a quietly opinionated bookworm who loves family, friends, coffee, laughter and Jesus, just not necessarily in that order. You can often find Bernadine curled up in her favorite chair reading a book or writing in one. Belinda Bullard is a wife to her best friend and a home educating mother of three. Belinda is an author and the owner of A Blessed Heritage Educational Resources, a literature-based history curriculum featuring African-American presence in history, as well as the contributions of other races to American history. A chemical engineer by formal education, she also serves as adjunct faculty for college programs specializing in adult learning. Andrea Perdue. I’m a wife, mom to a blended family, nana, and friend who embraces life seeking to become the person God created me to be. Veronica Scurry is a Prophetess, Worship Leader, and Women’s Ministry Coordinator. She has served in ministry for 14 years. As a speaker, Veronica is a woman who delivers the word of God with transparency, personal conviction, passion, and authority. She has a strong desire to see everyone walk in the ways of Christ, not only with their mouth but with their heart. Therefore, she prays that her ministry not only reaches the ears of those listening but that it penetrates their hearts to bring about true repentance and freedom through a real relationship with Jesus Christ. Rachel Temple is a wife, mom of two, blogger, coffee-lover and speaker. She is crazy about Jesus and thankful for grace. Rachel longs to see each generation connected because each generation needs each other. Wanda Ward is a directionally-challenged southern girl, who often finds herself lost in a good book. By day she works as a case management coordinator and spends her free time as a blogger, reader, CSS and HTML digger. She enjoys a glass of cold coca-cola, although she has found that nothing truly satisfies her thirst quite like Jesus. Joan Davis started her blog, The Beauty in His Grip, in order to share her thankfulness to God for His redeeming hand on her life. She believes that everything happens for a reason and the life-lessons learned along the way should be shared with others in order to build up the body for Christ. It is her desire is to encourage other women through the lessons that God has taught her. Joan shares the incredible truth that we can never fall so far that we are beyond the reach of God. There are no lost causes, for He loves us all. It doesn’t matter how rocky our pasts, God will always accept us when we surrender our lives to Him. With Christ we can live a life filled with abundant joy simply by knowing and experiencing Him through His mercy, grace and unfailing love.
