Let be and be still. I have been lingering on those words as of late. Many of us have full lives. We are very busy, prayerfully fruitful and not just busy, and if you’re like me there are times when you wish you had 5 hands, 2 brains, 2 hearts and so on just to meet the “needs”.
Words like overwhelmed, fatigued, exhausted, challenging and winded have floated into my vocabulary as of late, along with excited, expectant, encouraged, courageous, determined and blessed! Feels as if the world is tugging at you at every turn–the blessings and challenges often meeting in the middle and bringing exhilaration and fatigue almost in the same breath! Been there? It is then we have to hit the pause button and let be and be still. And in that stillness of mind, heart and body is where will know and recognize that God is Who He says that He is and will do exactly what He says that He’ll do.
In the busyness of your day-to-day life, hit the pause button, close your eyes and just let be and be still, and know that He is God in your life. Offer your worship and thanksgiving to Him. He will be exalted and He’s worthy to be exalted. When we pause and pray and spend meaningful moments and times with God it is then we can truly let be. Do you have some areas of your life that you need to just let be? I bet you do as do I so let’s be still together in His presence and know that He is God.
